Georgia takes Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Junior Touch Football top spot


Georgia used a 105-91 victory over Florida in Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club Junior Touch Football play to take over first place at 4-1.

Hugh Colburn, Jaycob Johnson and Corbin Durham provided the much of the offense and Braeden Free’s 2 interceptions under a minute gave the Bulldogs the win and sole possesion of first place.

Tristan Lovely(4 touchdowns), Emma Lalone(3 TD’s) and Michael Bice (3 TD’s) all played well in the loss.

In other contest, LSU downed Alabama 84-77.

Karson Larose had a huge game with six touchdowns and Isaiah Smith and Robbey Downey supplied the defense to give the Tigers their second win on the season. Alabama was led by Trent Sagent(5 touchdowns) and Justice McIntyre’s four scores.

Standings: Georgia 4-1, Florida 3-2, Alabama 2-3, LSU 2-3.

Players Of The Week Offensive: Corbin Durham and Olivia Merrill Defensive: Justice McIntyre and Hugh Colburn Sportsmanship: Connor Graveline and Collin Towne.
