CRIMINAL POSSESSION WEAPON - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Cole S. Cree, 30, of Hogansburg with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after responding to a weapons complaint at 9:38 a.m. Tuesday at the U.S. port of entry in Rooseveltown. Cree reportedly attempted to register a 30.06 Mossberg when she was crossing the but a check by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers revealed she was unable to possess a weapon as the result of a 2006 conviction for criminal possession of a weapon. She was turned over to troopers and released on an appearance ticket for Oct. 30 in Massena Town Court.



GRAND LARCENY - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged Stephen A. Luther, 17, of Canton with fourth-degree grand larceny - firearm/rifle/shotgun and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon Tuesday stemming from a weapon’s complaint filed with troopers at 1:19 p.m. Oct. 19 from the town of Canton.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Micaela Casler, 18, of Marion with petit larceny and unlawful possession of marijuana after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday at the Potsdam Walmart.



PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Franchell S. Polanco, 22, of Bronx with petit larceny after responding to a shoplifting complaint at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday at the Potsdam Walmart.



PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - WESTVILLE - Malone-based state police investigated a one-vehicle property damage accident at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday on County Route 19, near Cold Spring Road, in the town of Westville. Troopers said the vehicle was being operated by Jeremy R. Bush, 27, of Fort Covington.
