Judge Asa Holbrook deserves voter support

I want to state how disappointed I am with the town of Lowville voters. The results of the recent primary held Sept. 10 are disappointing in the least, and I can only imagine this was a result of the town residents not really knowing the candidates they were voting for.

I have worked for Judge Asa Holbrook for the last 12 years. Judge Holbrook expects you to give 100 percent. He does not believe in letting things slide or get carelessly put aside.

He believes when you have a job to do, you do it to the best of your abilities. He doesn’t believe in playing games with the court system, and he requires you to follow through.

You may want to question the ethics of his opponents(s). He is not asking anymore of you than what he would do himself. Some people cannot handle his high standards and work ethic.

Have you sat in his court? If you have not, you should before voting in the regular election.

What will you see when you observe Judge Holbrook at work? You will see a bluntly honest, law-abiding professional. Can Judge Holbrook be stern? You bet. Will Judge Holbrook take any nonsense? Absolutely not. Does he have a reputation of being hard nosed? Sure, but who would you like upholding our laws? When a defendant is found guilty, what do you want the judge to do? Send them off with slap on their hands or with a proper punishment that will make them think twice before they do the crime again? Judge Holbrook doles out punishments according to the law.

I started with the town of Lowville because they needed help, and I offered my services. I never expected to still be there after 12 years.

I am still there because I admire Judge Holbrook’s work ethic, his professionalism, his dedication, loyalty and trustworthiness. My recommendation to the town of Lowville voters is to reconsider your candidates when it comes to November’s election. Do you need a judge who has more than 30 years of law enforcement experience, is loyal to a fault, trustworthy and hard-working?

Vote Asa Holbrook for town of Lowville justice on the Conservative line.
