POTSDAM - To accommodate shoppers during the winter months, the Potsdam Farmers Market will be held indoors at Cheel Arena on the Clarkson University campus.
Hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays. The Winter Market will start on Saturday and continue throughout the winter.
We are excited to be able to offer locally produced goods all year round, said Market Manager Marie Cook. Shoppers will enjoy the hormone free meat and produce without pesticides and herbicides.
The market will include 10 local vendors offering a wide selection of items. Food will include produce, eggs, meats, wine and maple products. There will also be homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, warm Alpaca outerwear and clothing, and crafts such as jewelry and pottery.
The Winter Market will also have unique north country gifts for Christmas as well as decorations like wreaths, garland and centerpieces.
Payment by cash, debit, and EBT are accepted.
