This year the Sandy Creek/Lacona area will once again participate in the Salvation Armys Red Kettle campaign from Nov. 15 until Christmas.
The Red Kettle will be located on the sidewalk in front of the Sandy Creek Tops Market, and all of the money raised at this location will remain in our community. Our participation in the Red Kettle campaign will also provide us with access to additional assistance for those in need in our community.
We need volunteer bell ringers to help us help our community. As the Red Kettle coordinator for Sandy Creek, I am reaching out to members of the community to ask for help with this project. Ringing will begin on Nov. 15, and we could ring more days and more hours with enough volunteers.
Local groups and organizations who would like to sign up for a specific date for their group are welcome to contact me to make arrangements at 315-387-3657 or email me at email@example.com. Please put the words Red Kettle in the memo line.
Your donations of time and money have had a very positive impact on our community during the past year.
