Strong winds and threatening skies wiped out all but one of the NAC regular season and Section 10 playoff matchups slated for Friday.

The only contests that survived the weather were the Section 10 Class C Football Championship Game between OFA and Potsdam Central and an NAC Division II swim meet between Gouverneur and Edwards-Knox.

The entire Section 10 playoff schedule for Friday was moved to today. The Class B boys soccer semi-finals will see OFA host Gouverneur at the Kennedy School field starting at 2 p.m. while Canton is tentatively slated to host Potsdam at Roger Dusharm Field starting at 3 p.m. but officials will make a final decision this morning at 10 a.m. and should the Bears home field be unplayable, the game would be moved to the SUNY Canton turf field starting at 5:30 p.m.

The four Class D girls soccer games are now slated for today. The games at Potsdam Central will see Hammond and Lisbon square off at noon followed by Madrid-Waddington vs. Chateaugay at 2 p.m. Meanwhile at Massena Central, Hermon-DeKalb and Parishville-Hopkinton kick-off their game at noon followed by Colton-Pierrepont against Heuvelton at 2 p.m.

The Section 10 football non-league game between Massena and Tupper Lake has been moved to this afternoon at 3 p.m. in Tupper Lake and the NAC Division I swim meet between St. Lawrence Central and host OFA is slated for this morning at 8 a.m. Another swim meet between Franklin Academy and Canton was rescheduled for Monday at 4:30 p.m.
