DISORDERLY CONDUCT - POTSDAM - Villagepolice charged Andrew M. Williams, 20, of Brooklyn with disorderly conduct/fight/violent behavior and Deondre J. Riley, 19, of The Bronx with disorderly conduct/refusing to move on and two counts of resisting arrest oat 2:18a.m. Sunday on Barrington Drive on the SUNY Potsdam campus after patrols responded to assist SUNY University Police with a large fight on the SUNY Potsdam campus. Patrols responded and assisted University Police with taking multiple SUNY Canton students into custody who were observed fighting/failing to disperse from the area when told to do so by patrols.



SPEEDING - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Adam D. Quimby, 21, of Cato for speed in zone (48/30) after police observed two vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed westbound on Sandstone Drive at 12:29 a.m. Sunday. The second vehicle’s driver was also ticketed.

0015 Patrol completed traffic stop on Market Street. A verbal warning was issued.

0029 Traffic stop on Clarkson Avenue. Tickets issued.

0108 Patrols assisted SUNY Potsdam University Police with a large fight on the campus. Two subjects, Andrew M. Williams and Deondre J. Riley, were subsequently arrested by village patrols and released with appearance tickets.

0151 Patrols and Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Clarkson University.

0200 Daylight Savings time began

1150 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to Elliot Road, Norwood.

1310 Report of a verbal dispute. Patrols dispatched.

1335 Report of the smell of marihuana coming from an apartment on Lawrence Avenue. Patrol dispatched.

1625 A vehicle operator enters Potsdam PD reporting that he hit a parked vehicle in a parking lot and the owner was present. Person reporting states that he went to get his insurance information and the owner of the victim vehicle left location.

1649 Stolen bike: blue with black and silver Mongoose.

1848 Record check completed for another agency completing a background investigation.

1908 Landlord/tenant dispute.Investigation continues.

2030 Potsdam Rescue dispatched to a call on Market Street.

2046 Received complaint of lost property.
