A Winslow Street man faces a drug charge following a raid in which police allegedly found 117 packets of heroin in his apartment.
Anthony M. McNeil, 45, of 320 Winslow St., Apt. 2, was arrested on a charge of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a Class B felony, after a search warrant was executed by the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force on Friday. It concluded a three-month investigation, task force officials said.
As a result of the search, police seized 117 packets of heroin, valued, at $3,500, and $3,200 in cash.
He was arraigned in City Court and sent to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on no bail.
The Watertown Police Departments Entry Team and the Jefferson Sheriffs Departments Emergency Response Team, or SERT, assisted in the arrest.
