Two Glenfied youths charged in alleged dispute

GLENFIELD — Two Glenfield youths were charged in connection with an alleged dispute at their Pine Grove Road residence a couple of weeks ago.

Lewis County sheriff’s deputies charged Kyle T. Simpson, 18, of 6813 Pine Grove Road, with two counts apiece of second-degree menacing and second-degree harassment, while Jennifer S. Shermerhorn, 20, same address, was charged with a single count of second-degree harassment.

Mr. Simpson was accused of, on Oct. 22, verbally threatening two youths who were staying at their residence — Nicole L. Plantz, 18, and Dylon R. Brand, 19, both of 6755 Number Four Road, Lowville — while he displayed an aluminum baseball bat. Deputies said Ms. Shermerhorn also shoved Ms. Plantz during the alleged incident.

Both suspects are to appear in Watson Town Court.
