Jarrod A. Hurley, 28, of 146 W. Main St., Apt. 3, was charged Wednesday night by city police at his home with third-degree falsely reporting an incident, disorderly conduct and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Police said he told officers his home had been burglarized. Police said he also smashed a glass pipe and yelled in the street during the incident. A small amount of marijuana was found on him, they said. Police later found out that he had damaged his own property.
He was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment.
