The graveside service for Eileen D. O’Brien will be Saturday, November 9th, 11am at North Watertown Cemetery, Rev. Bruce Chapman officiating. Calling hours will be Friday, November 8th from 6pm-8pm at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.Mrs. O’Brien passed away Wednesday evening at the Samaritan Medical Center following a brief illness. She was 90 years old.Eileen was born in Watertown September 4, 1923, a daughter to John Milford and Sybil Dawson Watson. She was educated locally, and graduated from Watertown High School. She worked at Gibson’s Laundry, Watertown, for many years.On June 28, 1942 she married Marvin Ritter. That marriage would end in divorce. On October 13, 1967 she married James O’Brien. Mr. O’Brien passed away November 23, 1986.Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law: Linda (Lee) Falk, Leesburg, VA; 3 grandchildren: Susan (Jason) Payne, VA, Bonnie Falk, VA, Lee Falk II, MD; a great-grandchild: Jordan Payne, VA; and a very special niece, Susan Burker, Watertown. Also surviving are a niece and several nephews.Eileen is pre-deceased by 2 brothers: John Albert Watson and George Frederick Leiland Watson.Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Inc.Condolences may be made at www.reedbenoit.com.
