CANTON A Massena man who stole more than $19,000 from his mother walked out of St. Lawrence County Court this week with a misdemeanor charge after having his guilty plea to felony grand larceny vacated.

Ms. Shantie said she discovered she was missing thousands of dollars when she went to the bank in August 2010 to withdraw money and discovered her account was overdrawn by $836.
