Watertown native Tim McCreadie finished fifth in the final race of the season as The World of Outlaws late model series and the Super DIRTcar big-block modified series concluded their seasons Saturday night at The Dirt Car Track in Charlotte, N.C.
McCreadie also finished fifth in points for the season. Tim Fuller of Watertown finished 13th in the race and was seventh in points.
Josh Richards won the race and he also earned the points title during the World Finals weekend.
Brett Hearn of Sussex, N.J., was crowned the DIRTcar big-block champion despite finishing second in Saturday nights race that was won by Stewart Friesen.
Billy Dunn left the race early after being involved in a crash. He finished 28th. McCreadie, who had won a heat race prior to the 40-lap feature, had car problems on lap 28. McCreadie finished 26th in the 28-car field.
Carey Terrance of Hogansburg finished 15th and former Dexter resident Rob Bellinger was 16th.
