■ POTSDAM — The Corning Incorporated Foundation recently made a contribution to the Canton-Potsdam Hospital Foundation toward upgrades at the hospital’s After Hours Clinic in Canton. In the past 10 years it has contributed more than $25,000 to the hospital.

n CRARY MILLS — The Tri-Town Community Center will host a chicken and biscuit dinner starting at noon Dec. 1. The cost is $9 for adults, free for children under 5. Takeouts will be available. All proceeds will benefit the community center. For information, call 267-6413.

n MADRID — The Seaway Valley Senior Citizens holiday luncheon will be held at noon Dec. 10 at the Madrid Community Center. Reservations are required and must be made by Nov. 30 by calling 322-5554. Members are asked to bring a nonperishable item for the food pantries.
