NSA activities needed to prevent terrorism

PREV
NEXT

Last Friday evening, the head of the National Security Agency handed a note to the president that stated, “Jim Norris just ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with double cheese and thin crust from Art’s Jug in Watertown.” The president replied, “Keep listening.”

Sound ridiculous? It is, but that’s what some people believe the NSA does and they want the organization to stop.

Actually, the NSA collects data and tries to discern patterns that might foretell terrorist activity. When and if they see a pattern, they must get court permission to tap into the source of the communication and determine if a threat exists. If it does, other agencies of government become involved and try to prevent any nefarious activity.

Oh yeah, the pizza was delicious.
