CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Luann J. Wahl, 40, of Chipley, Fla., with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property Sunday. She was additionally charged with second-degree criminal mischief stemming from a complaint filed with troopers at 7 p.m. July 22 from the town of Norfolk. Troopers said Wahl was residing at a residence at 9236 state Route 56, Norfolk, before being evicted this summer. The landlord, Barbara Donnelly, reportedly did an inspection of the property and found that all of the copper piping to the heating and plumbing systems had been stripped. Troopers said their investigation revealed Wahl had sold the copper to Massena Metals, South Raquette Road, Massena. The copper alone was valued at $2,500 to $3,000, police said. Wahl was arraigned by Norfolk Town Justice George Grubee and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $5,000 cash or $7,500 bond.
PETIT LARCENY - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Maureen E. Irhiemi, 19, of Bronx, Georgette Grandison, 20, of Bronx and Nijah M. Brumfield, 20 of Brooklyn with petit larceny in connection with a shoplifting complaint filed with troopers at 8:20 p.m. Nov. 12. They were taken into custody at 7:45 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, processed and released on appearance tickets. Brumfield was additionally charged with three counts of trespassing.
DWI - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Phillip L. Salamacha, 38, 565 Washington Ave., Albany, with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to keep right, speeding and speed in zone at 11:01 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on state Route 420 in the town of Norfolk. Salamacha had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent.
CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - FORT COVINGTON - Malone-based state police charged Cory N. Nadeau, 23, of Tupper Lake with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana - more than 2 ounces. Nadeau was turned over to troopers by the U.S. Border Patrol following a stop in the town of Fort Covington.

■ Nicholas D. Mallory, 18, of Lisbon at 2:36 a.m. Monday on state Route 37, near Buck Road, in the town of Waddington.
■ Tammy J. Farnsworth, 44, of Potsdam at 5:34 a.m. on County Route 34, near state Route 310, in the town of Potsdam.
