The St. Lawrence University men’s soccer team won all of the Liberty League performers of the week after two dominating wins in the NCAA Division III tournament over the weekend.

Ryan Grant was named offensive performer of the week after the sophomore recorded his first career hat trick, and sophomore Daniel Hunt recorded another hat trick to earn defensive performer of the week, while freshman Rob Brandall scored twice to earn rookie of the week.

Clarkson’s Xiao Liang was named the top volleyball performer for the third week in a row after generating a team-best 45 kills after Clarkson won the NCAA Division III New York Regional.

St. Lawrence sophomore running back Maurice Irby took football offensive performer of the week after rushing for 207 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-0 win over Merchant Marine on Saturday. Freshman kicker Andrew Brandao-Carvalho won rookie of the week.

The St. Lawrence men’s cross country team swept league honors. Trevor Bibb took the performer of the week and Thomas Caulfield earned rookie of the week, while SLU’s Lisa Grohn was named rookie of the week in women’s cross country. Clarkson freshman guard Stephanie Grobe was selected as women’s basketball rookie of the week.

SLU’s Brady Condlin of Massena and Clarkson’s John Coleman of Potsdam were named to the league honor roll in men’s basketball, while Clarkson’s Ashley Loggins earned a spot on the honor roll in women’s basketball.
