Ogdensburg Planning Board will review application for new Dunkin’ Donuts

OGDENSBURG — The city may be home to a Dunkin’ Donuts location on Paterson Street, across from McDonald’s restaurant.

City Department of Public Works employees were out Monday installing a new sewer line to the empty lot, with traffic routed away from the construction site throughout the day.

Andrea L. Smith, the city’s director of Planning and Development, said in an email message that, “The city has received an application for site plan review for the construction of a new Dunkin’ Donuts franchise.”

The site plan review will examine the proposed development of the site, giving city officials a chance to ensure it adheres to zoning laws.

Ms. Smith said the city Planning Board will review the proposal Dec. 3 at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.

The site is just behind Burger King and close to the town of Oswegatchie line.
