Participates: Steven Maynard, asenior at Pulaski Academy and Central School, was selected to participate in the New York School Music Association’s All State Chorus Conference in December. Mr. Maynard, who sings tenor I, will participate in the four-day conference, held at Eastman School of Music, Rochester. Over the summer, he spent six weeks at Tanglewood (Mass.) Institute, studying with professors from Boston University.

Scholarship: James Sheridan recently received a St. Lawrence County Bar Association Scholarship. The funds are given annually to students enrolled or accepted at law schools. Mr. Sheridan, a graduate of SUNY Buffalo with a degree in finance, is attending the University of Virginia School of Law, Charlottesville, Va. Over the summer, he worked in the finance division at United Technologies Co., Hartford, Conn.
