Yorkville- Frank Pieczarka (Master Gardener), 84 formerly of Watertown passed away on November 18, 2013 in Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare. He was born in Southwick, MA. on February 27, 1929 a son of John and Katherine Panek Pieczarka and attended the Southwick School System. On December 6, 1958 Frank was united in marriage to Ursula Syriac. The couple resided in Southwick, MA. and Newport, N.H. , moving to Watertown in 1974 and then to Yorkville in 1999.

Frank was a Jack of All Trades involved in farming and carpentry. His two true loves were polka dancing and gardening.

Being considered a Master Gardener always made him proud of his beautiful flowers and plants located on Campbell Ave. in the village.

Survivors include his wife Ursula, four children, Lorraine (Cary) Riordan, Denise Farrington, Frank Pieczarka, Jr. and Susan (Don) Church, a son-in-law Paul DellaPepa, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and several other relatives. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah DellaPepa in 2011
