The Jefferson Community College Campus Activities Board will present an evening of classical piano with Isaac J. James at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, in Sturtz Theater on the Coffeen Street college campus.

Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

With a repertoire ranging from classical to jazz and cabaret, Mr. James has served as resident accompanist for community, symphonic and collegiate choral groups on the pipe organ and piano. He founded the annual P. Owen Willaman International Piano Competition named after his late friend, a native of Watertown and a Shapiro Award recipient. Mr. Willaman died in 2009.

Mr. James, 25, Champion, has performed throughout the Northeast and made his Carnegie Hall debut in 2012. A native of Vermont , he moved to Watertown in 1998 with his parents, the Rev. Thomas James and Cassondra James. Isaac moved back to Vermont in 2009 but recently moved back to the north country.
