The recent break-ins in Felts Mills about a mile from our home made us grateful that we have outdoor lighting and that we had a home security system installed a few weeks ago.
The technicians who set up our system were professional, knowledgeable and pleasant when it came to teaching us how to use our new system. The 24-hour local monitoring service went into action on our behalf when there was a power outage the first night we turned our system on.
We have had several calls since when something showed up on their monitor that we needed to know about. We learned their response is swift that night; I checked our front door to see if it was locked after I had turned on the alarm for the night. By the time I went from the living room to the kitchen to turn off the alarm, our phone was ringing to tell us someone was entering our home.
Despite the chaos in the world, we go to bed each night knowing our security system will alert us and emergency personnel if were in danger from fire, burglars, floods, freezing temperatures or gas leaks. We dont know how other companies work with their customers. But our local company, S.T.A.T. Communications, gets an A-plus from us.
