ACCIDENT - BANGOR - On November 24, 2013, at approximately 2:45 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident on State Route 11B, Bangor. A Chevy Traverse, operated by Chad M. Shantie, 33 years old of Bangor, was traveling east on State Route 11B, when Shantie lost control of his vehicle and exited the south shoulder of the roadway. The vehicle spun off the roadway, striking a tree. The vehicle continued to spin, striking an embankment, where it eventually came to a rest.

Shantie sustained minor facial lacerations, however, he declined medical attention.

Shantie was issued tickets for unsafe speed and aggravated unlicensed operation, due to driving with a suspended license, both returnable to the Town of Bangor Court.



WEAPONS CHARGE - BANGOR - On November 22, 2013, at approximately 1 p.m., State Police responded to a report of a possible menacing at 2570 State Route11B, Bangor. James L. Labarr, 20 years old of Bombay, NY, was subsequently arrested for possessing a firearm while being prohibited, due to a prior conviction.

Labarr was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, an A Misdemeanor. He was arraigned at the Town of Bangor Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash or $1,000.00 bond. Labarr is to reappear before the court on December 2, 2013 at 3 p.m.



TRESPASSING - PARISHVILLE - Canton based State Police arrested Thomas J. Sawyer, 52, of Raymondville for trespassingSunday at 6:35 p.m. in Norfolk for trespassing on private property in the Parishville on Oct. 27 and Nov. 3. Sawyer was issued a criminal summons returnable in Parishville Town Court on Dec. 17.



TRESPASSING - PARISHVILLE - Canton based State Police arrested Jordan S. Dishaw, 18, of Norwoodfor trespassing on Sunday at 4:40 p.m. in Potsdam for trespassing on private property in theParishville on Nov. 10 Dishaw was issued a criminal summons returnable in Parishville Town Court on Dec. 17.
