UNAUTHORIZED USE - CANTON - Canton-based state police charged James C. Belonge, 38, of 158 Northwoods Road, Hermon,withunauthorized use of a motor vehicle Tuesday morning stemming from a complaint from a local car dealership.

Belonge initially rented a vehicle Nov. 8 from a car dealership in the town of Potsdamr. Belonge failed to return the vehicle and was arrested on Tuesday. The vehicle was returned to the owner. Belonge was released on an appearance ticket for Dec. 5 in the town of Potsdam Court.

DWAI DRUGS - PIERREPONT - Canton-based state police charged Travis D. Donnelly, 24, of Caroga Lake withdriving while ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana. He was also ticketed for speeding and failure to notify DMV of a change of address. Donnelly was initially stopped for speeding (46 mph in a 30 mph zone) at 3:03 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 56 in the town of Pierrepont.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - WADDINGTON - Massena-based state police charged Blayne J. Finley, 35, of Waddington with fourth-degree criminal mischief after responding to a domestic dispute complaint at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the town of Waddington.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - NORFOLK - Massena-based state police charged Thomas E. Mattice, 40, of Massena with third-degree criminal mischief - damage greater than $250 Tuesday evening following an investigation into a domestic dispute complaint reported at 1:52 p.m. Tuesday from the town of Norfolk.

DWI - HELENA - Massena-based state police charged Tracy Hall, 39, of Massena with driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for following too closely and moving from lane unsafely following a traffic stop at 11:26 p.m. Tuesday on state Route 37C.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - PARISHVILLE - State police investigated a number of property damage accident Tuesday around the region. Among those:

■ Benjamin A. Palmer, 23, of Norwood at 7:31 a.m. on state Route 72, near Young Road, in the town of Parishville.
