City police charged three people after the trio allegedly took a vehicle early Tuesday.
Police said Andrew A. Nelson, 19, of 35869 County Route 22, Theresa, Jamal R. Gholston, 19, of 520 S. Hamilton St., and Harley W. Stenowski, 20, of 26003 Route 283, entered a 1996 Jeep Cherokee owned by Alan J. Fisher, Watertown, without his permission. While in the vehicle, the three allegedly took property of Mr. Fisher, including $123. During their arrest, Mr. Stenowski allegedly had a Smith & Wesson .38 caliber pistol in his sweatpants.
The three were charged at 2:18 a.m. on the 100 block of Creekwood Drive with petit larceny and trespassing, while Mr. Stenowski also was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
All three were held pending arraignment in City Court.
