There were no injuries after two cars collided on the corner of Greene and Paterson streets in Ogdensburg Wednesday.

The accident happened shortly before 1 p.m.

Ogdensburg police ticketed James F. Steves, 65, 10111 Route 37, for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.

City police said Mr. Steves’s gray Chevy sedan was traveling west on Greene Street when it was struck by a blue Dodge pickup driven by Jamie A. Kotz, 34, 1600 Maple Ridge Rd., Dekalb Junction, who was traveling south on Paterson Street.

City police blocked off traffic on a portion of Greene Street for an hour while a tow truck towed the pickup and removed the Chevy with a heavily damaged right side from the sidewalk.
