POTSDAM - The State University of New York at Potsdam will celebrate the ribbon cutting for the college’s new $55 million Performing Arts Center in a special ceremony at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Both campus and community are invited to attend this celebration.

The first new academic building to be unveiled at SUNY Potsdam in 40 years, the Performing Arts Center will house the college’s acclaimed Department of Theatre and Dance. There will be a reception at 11 a.m., followed by a program with remarks from elected officials, campus leaders, the project architects and contractors, culminating with the ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m. There will also be a dance performance during the ceremony. The campus community will be invited to tour the new building at noon.

Please park in Lot 6, near the Sara M. Snell Music Theater at The Crane School of Music.
