ADAMS Brook Bennett, Glenfield, and Adam VanBrocklin, Lowville, were married at 2 p.m. Aug. 31 at Adams Country Club with Greg Burker, judge, officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mark and Linda Bennett, Glenfield. The groom is the son of Mike and MaryLou VanBrocklin, Lowville. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Sarah Shumway, Pittsburgh, was matron of honor, and Heather Bennett, Glenfield, was maid of honor; both are sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Sara Scott, Mary Beth Baker and Kati Farney, all of Lowville, and Amanda Walser, Syracuse.
Dan VanBrocklin, Lowville, was his brothers best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Meiss, Sam Roes, Derek Stewart and James Farney, all of Lowville, and Bob Ripp, Lyons Falls.
A reception was held at Pine Tree Inn, Brantingham, in an outdoor tent. The couple will take a Christmas-time honeymoon to Jamaica.
Mrs. Bennett VanBrocklin graduated in 2002 from Lowville Academy and Central School and received a masters degree in special education from SUNY Oswego. She is a middle school special education teacher for LaFargeville Central School.
Mr. VanBrocklin graduated in 2006 from Lowville Academy and Central School and received a degree in turf management from SUNY Cobleskill. He is superintendant of the golf course at Adams Country Club.
