Watertown Little Theatre brought home several awards last week after it was selected to perform “Those Crazy Ladies in the House on the Corner” by Pat Cook at the Theatre Association of New York State Festival Nov. 22 to 25 in Auburn.

Ten plays were selected for the competition.

“Those Crazy Ladies” was staged by Watertown Little Theatre in October. Daniel Allington directed.

At the festival, Little Theatre veteran Jane Bowman Jenkins won the People’s Choice Award for best actor. She played Dora, one of the three elderly ladies in “Crazy Ladies.” Mrs. Jenkins also received the Adjudicators Award for Outstanding Performance.

The performance also won the Adjudicator’s Discretionary Award for best costuming.
