CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - LOUISVILLE - Massena-based state police charged Frances OBrien, 59, of Baldwinsville with second-degree criminal contempt after investigating a complaint filed with troopers at 5:41 p.m. Saturday from the town of Louisville. The arrest was made at 6:15 p.m. at 10161 state Route 56 in the town of Louisville.
Troopers charged OBrienwith third-degree assault, second-degree menacing, criminal mischief, petit larceny and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use at 1:30 a.m. Saturday on Windsor Road, Massena, following an investigation into an assault complaint filed with troopers at 5:45 p.m. Friday from the town of Louisville.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - MALONE - State police around the region investigated a number of property damage accidents around the region on Saturday. Among those:
■ Jenna Marie Dufrane, 16, of Moira and Corey J.Monette, 36, of Malone were involved in a two-vehicle collision at 12:49 p.m. on Fay Road, near Cold Springs Road, in the town of Westville.
■ Sarah V. Avery, 27, of Bombay struck a parked vehicle at 6:06 p.m. on North Woods Road, near Barrett Road, in the town of Moira.
