CRIMINAL POSSESSION MARIJUANA - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police reported Tuesday they had charged Abram J. Kahl, 21, of Malone with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and false personation Nov. 25 following a traffic stop on state Route 37 in Hogansburg. Police found 2.185 ounces of marihuana in the vehicle. They said Kahl gave police a fake name during a traffic stop. Kahl had an active Franklin County Family Court warrant and was turned over to the custody of New York State Police.

Tribal police also charged Mallory Cree, 30 of Hogansburg with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana. She was additionally charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights on November 25 after a traffic stop for inadequate headlights. Cree was released on an appearance ticket for Jan. 7 in Bombay Town Court.



DWI - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Dawn L. Delormier, 42 of Hogansburg with felony counts of driving while intoxicated and a of first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle rollover accident Nov. 26 on St. Regis Road. Police said Delormier had a previous DWI conviction within the previous 10 years elevating the charges to felonies. She was also ticketed for a seat belt violation and speed not reasonable and prudent. Tribal police allege Delormier’s blood alcohol content was 0.15 percent. She was arraigned in Fort Covington Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail with bail set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.



CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - FORT COVINGTON - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Wade T. Mitchell, 37, of Hogansburg with first-degree falsifying business records, first-degree filing a false instrument and third-degree grand larceny. Mitchell was arraigned in Fort Covington Town Court and sent to the Franklin County Jail with bail set at $2,000 cash or $4,000 bond.



ISSUING A BAD CHECK - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Travis St. Andrews, 30, of Potsdam with issuing a bad check on Nov. 29 after he was picked up on an active arrest warrant. St. Andrews was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and was released and is to appear on Jan. 28.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Alexander C. Garrow III, 42 of Hogansburg, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for speed in zone after he was observed travelling 57 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on Nove. 26 after a traffic stop on Cook Road.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged David Colon, 25 of Akwesasne with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed him for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and operation of a motor vehicle without stop lights following a traffic stop Nov. 26 on state Route 37.



AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police charged Ashton M. Francis, 25 of Hogansburg with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed her for operation of a motor vehicle with suspended registration on Nov. 30 after she was spotted driving a suspended motor vehicle on St. Regis Road.



INADEQUATE HEADLIGHTS - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Brenda E. Vroom, 64 of Ottawa, Ont., for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights following a traffic stop Dec. 1 on state Route 37.



INADEQUATE HEADLIGHTS - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Charles J. Schloer, 31 of Bombay for operation of a vehicle with inadequate headlights following a traffic stop on Sunday. He was then turned over to the Massena Village Police Department on an outstanding warrant from Massena Village Court.



STOP SIGN - AKWESASNE - St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police ticketed Marlon L. Johnson, 37 of Cornwall, Ont., for a stop sign violation following a traffic stop on Cook Road.

SPEEDING - AKWESASNE - Tribal police ticketed several people for speed in zone during the week ending on Dec. 2. They included:

■ Jeffrey A. Lashomb, 25, of Syracuse after being observed travelling 53 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on Cook Road.

■ Carole K. White, 57, of Hogansburg after being observed travelling 51 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on state Route 37. Ms. White is to appear in Tribal Court on December 23.

■ Shari L. Adams, 41 of Akwesasne, Que., after being observed travelling 51 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on Cook Road.

■ Penny K. Peters, 35 of Akwesasne after being observed travelling 54 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on Cook Road.

■ Pamela A. Hosier, 40 of Moira after being observed travelling 54 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on Nov. 26 on Beaver Meadow Road.

■ Nicole M. Jock, 29 of Bombay after observing being observed travelling 52 mph in a posted 35 mph zone on Nov. 26 on Beaver Meadow Road.
