An Ellisburg man was arrested by Jefferson County sherriff’s deputies Friday morning after he was accused of stalking, harassing and forcibly touching a Brownville woman.

Jason J. Loomis, 31, of 12241 Route 193, was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment, fourth-degree stalking, forcible touching and intimidation.

It is alleged that, after the defendant and Fay Parks ended their relationship, Mr. Loomis began to stalk and send threatening text messages, emails and Facebook messages to Ms. Parks. It also is alleged that he forcibly touched Ms. Parks.

Mr. Loomis was arrested at 11:05 a.m. Friday at his residence. Because the alleged forcible touching occurred at Jefferson Community College, Mr. Loomis will be arraigned in city of Watertown Court to answer that charge. He was arraigned in town of Brownville Court to answer the remaining charges.

Mr. Loomis was remanded to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building on $250 cash bail.
