BRIER HILL A Brier Hill couple was arrested Thursday by state police resulting from a month old domestic incident.
On Nov. 6, police said they responded to a report of a domestic dispute at the residence of Matthew P. McLean, 27, and his wife, Bobbie Jo, 35, at 2713 Rout 37, where an alleged verbal argument took place resulting in Mr. McLean damaging property within the residence and violating an order of protection, according to a police release.
After learning a warrant was issued for his arrest related to the domestic incident, police said Mrs. McLean told them she was unaware of his whereabouts and finally located him Thursday at their home when responding to another domestic dispute.
Mr. McLean was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a felony, fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was arraigned at the Morristown Town Court and taken to the St. Lawrence County jail where he is being held on $10,000 cash bail.
Mrs. McLean was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor and issued an appearance ticket.
Both are scheduled to appear at 4 p.m. on Dec. 19 in Morristown Town Court.
