n CANTON — During December, motorists do not have to put money in the village parking meters.

n CANTON — Nearly $13,000 was recovered after investigations of welfare fraud, bad checks, forgery and illegal use of credit cards in November, according to a press release issued by the St. Lawrence County Department of Social Services and the district attorney.
