Fourth defendant charged in Salmon Run Mall theft

A fourth woman was charged by state police in connection with a theft at the Salmon Run Mall.

Patricia J. Tyo, 31, of 182 Route 345, Potsdam, was charged Sunday with two counts of petit larceny after police said she was involved with stealing approximately $879 worth of merchandise from Sears.

Three other defendants also were charged in the robbery: Kady L. LaFleur, 20, of 235 Center St., Apt. 6; Bobbie J. LaRock, 34, of 118 Jefferson Ave., and an unnamed 14-year-old girl, all from Massena, were charged with one count of petit larceny each. Ms. LaRock also was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and endangering the welfare of a child after police said she knowingly included the unnamed minor.

Ms. Tyo was arrested at 2:33 p.m. Sunday at the state police station on Route 37 in Pamelia and issued an appearance ticket for Watertown Town Court.
