PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Chad S. Wickwire, 29, of 8720 state Route 56, Raymondville, with petit larceny at 11:40 p.m. Monday after responding to a shoplifting complaint at Walmart. Wickwire allegedly walked past the last point of sale without paying for $698.04 worth of merchandise.

DWI - MASSENA - Village police reported Thomas G. Boice, 29, of 598 South Main St., Massena, had been charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 11:03 p.m. Dec. 5 on North Main Street. He reportedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent.

CRIMINAL CONTEMPT - MASSENA - Village police charged Dylan Nevin, 19, of 148 Cook Road, Massena, with second-degree criminal contempt at 8:28 p.m. Monday stemming from an investigation into an incident that reportedly took place Sunday when he allegedly violated an order of protection by following his ex-girlfriend, Erika McGourthy, 19, from the St. Lawrence Centre mall to Walmart.

SPEED NOT REASONABLE - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Nancy L. Coughlin, 57, of state Route 420, Norfolk, for speed not reasonable and prudent following an incident at 11:16 a.m. Monday on Grove Street at Bowers.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Vincent A. Desrosiers, 27, of Montreal, Que., for speeding at 12:14 a.m. Monday following a traffic stop on Stephenville Road.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Nancy L. LaPlant, 71, of Carthage for speeding at 9:37 a.m. Sunday following a traffic stop on East Hatfield Street.

SPEEDING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Daniel Ingster, 37, of Las Nevas, Nev., for speeding at 9:02 p.m. Sunday following a traffic stop of state Route 37.
