CRIMINAL MISCHIEF - MASSENA - Village police charged Jordan R. Wheeler, 19, of 22 Dana St., Massena, with fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child after responding to a domestic dispute complaint at 3:38 a.m. Wednesday his residence. Police said Wheeler broke an imitation Christmas tree and a fish bowl while arguing with his mother, Lisa Charleston. He was held in the village lockup overnight and released on his own recognizance following his arraignment Wednesday morning by Massena Village Justice Eric J, Gustafson.
Wheeler told police he was in pain due to a wisdom tooth coming in and was upset his girlfriend was spending time with his mother than him since he had just returned home after spending a month in a treatment program. He said he argued with his girlfriend , flushed earrings he had bought her earlier in the day and then started throwing items, including a snow globe, around the residence.
AGGRAVATED UNLICENSED OPERATION - MASSENA - Village police charged Amber L. Olson, 22, of 12 Lincoln Place, Massena, with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and ticketed her for failure to signal at 11:51 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop on East Orvis Street.
STOP SIGN - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Rachel A. Beshaw, 27, of County Route 46, Massena, for a stop sign violation at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday following a traffic stop near Glenn Street at Phillips.
