A Watertown man was arrested 7:17 p.m. Tuesday after city police said he grabbed an officer.

John M. Chase, 30, of 108 Creekwood Drive, Apt. 7, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and second-degree harassment after the incident, in which Mr. Chase allegedly grabbed the arm of Officer Joseph A. Giaquinto while he was making a mental hygiene arrest of an unnamed woman at 221 Clinton St. on Dec. 3.

Mr. Chase was arrested at his residence, taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building and issued an appearance ticket for City Court.
