Walter Wilcox, 59, of 513 Olive St., Apt. 2, was arrested by city police early Tuesday after he allegedly threatened a man with a kitchen knife.
Police said Mr. Wilcox had a kitchen knife with the intent to place Kenneth D. Pleasant, of 705 Starbuck Ave., in fear of serious physical injury during an argument.
He was arrested at 12:07 a.m. at his home and charged with first-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was charged in the first degree because of a previous conviction of second-degree menacing in City Court in April 2011.
A witness, Jeannine M. Tousley, same address as Mr. Wilcox, requested an order of protection against him.
He was taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was held on $10,000 cash bail pending arraignment in City Court.
