U.S. Rep. William L. Owens, D-Plattsburgh, will be joined by a representative from New York State of Health, New Yorks state-run health insurance marketplace, to answer questions about the states rollout of the Affordable Care Act during a telephone town hall from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today.
New York State has been a model for successful implementation of the insurance marketplace under the health care law, and I look forward to teaming with the state to answer questions and receive feedback from my constituents about the new options available to them, Mr. Owens said in a news release.
A random sample of residents of the 21st Congressional District will receive an invitation by telephone to participate in the call. Constituents who are not randomly selected and wish to participate in the call can sign up by:
