CARTHAGE Jefferson County sheriffs deputies Wednesday arrested a Carthage man after he was accused of stealing a hair straightener.
Jeremy P. ODonnell, 33, of 610 Alexandra St., was charged with petit larceny after deputies said he took the hair straightener valued at $129.99 from Target, 21800 Towne Center Drive, Watertown. According to the arrest report, Mr. ODonnell claimed to have stolen the hair straightener in exchange for a ride to Carthage.
He was arrested at 7 p.m. and transported to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building for processing. He was issued an appearance ticket for Watertown Town Court.
