CLAYTON — Betty S. Sutton, the new administrator of the St. Lawrence Seaway Development Corp., and Maude Barlow, national chairwoman of the Council of Canadians and founder of the Blue Planet Project, will be keynote speakers at Save the River’s 25th annual Winter Environmental Conference scheduled for Feb. 8 at the Clayton Opera House on Riverside Drive.

Every year, the Clayton-based nonprofit group has been inviting environmental experts, activists, lawmakers and educators to its winter conference to discuss issues and policies affecting the Lake Ontario-St. Lawrence River ecosystem.

For more information or to register for the event, call Save the River at 686-2010 or visit: www.savetheriver.org.
