GRAND LARCENY - POTSDAM - Village police filed several additional charges against Minjee Kim, 20, of Auburn, Ala., on Saturday. She had been charged on Dec. 6 with two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny and two counts of theft of services following an investigation into the theft of credit cards and other property from the Clarkson University campus. Police said Kim admitted stealing the credit cards. Kim was arraigned on the initial charges Dec. 6 by Potsdam Village Justice Nicholas Pignone and was sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility with bail set at $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. Kim posted bail and was released from custody.

Police said as part of the ongoing police investigation they charged Kim on Friday with one count of fourth-degree, seven counts of third-degree forgery, seven counts of theft of services and two counts of larceny.

Kim allegedly stole several items and credit cards and forged the owners’ names when she used the cards to purchase items at local businesses.

She was arraigned before Mr. Pignone and was released and ordered to return to court on a later date.

UNLICENSED OPERATION - POTSDAM - Village police ticketed Jesse T. Vrooman, 22, of Potsdamfor unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and crossing road hazard markings at 1:41 a.m. Saturday following a traffic stop on Pierrepont Avenue.
