Peter L. Kostyk, age 64 of Evans Road, Dexter passed away at his home Friday afternoon.

Peter was born November 6, 1949 in Watertown the son of Peter and Greta Lewis Kostyk. He graduated from General Brown High School, attended Jefferson Community College and graduated from Fredonia College with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

He served in the Army from 1970-1972 and after his discharge he worked at Gould’s /Bomax in Watertown and later worked at St. Lawrence Explosives and was Department Manager for sports at Herb Phillipson’s in Watertown.

A marriage to Suzanne Clough ended in divorce.

Peter was a member of the Brownville Fish and Game Club and Toad Hollow Fish and Game Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and trap shooter.

He is survived by his companion, Mary Misczuk. Two children and their spouses: Christopher and Ashley Kostyk of Morrisonville, N.Y. and LeAnn and Christopher Andiorio of Watertown. Three grandchildren Parker and Mason Andiorio and Alice Kostyk and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 16th at 8:00 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Calling hours will be from 6-8 P.M. prior to the service. Donations may be made to the Brownville Fish and Game Club % Everet Corliss P.O. Box 603 Dexter, N.Y. 13634.
