A bomb threat Thursday morning at Ogdensburg Free Academy forced 900 students from their classrooms after a note found in a bathroom threatened to blow the school up at noon.
State and city police combed the 1100 State St. campus for an hour after the note scribbled on toilet paper and stuck to the wall of a stall in a high school girls bathroom was discovered by a female student at about 10 a.m.
The note declared, Im going to blow the school up at noon, said Superintendent of Schools Timothy M. Vernsey.
Police found no bomb.
The students waited in the nearby, previously-cleared Edgar A. Newell II Golden Dome.
