BURGLARY - MOIRA - The New York State Police in Malone arrested three individuals Thursday as part of an investigation into several residential and commercial burglaries which occurred during September and October in northern Franklin County.
Shawnessy T. Newvine, 27, of Brushton was charged with one count each of second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, second-degreecriminally using drug paraphernalia and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Newvine was arraigned in Bangor Town Court and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond.
Corey F. Waldron, 25, of Moira was charged with two counts of second-degree burglaryand one count of fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. He was arraigned in Bangor Town Court and remanded to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or $100,000 bond.
Shawn H. Waldron, 29, of Westville was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary and one count of third-degree burglar. He was arraigned in Moira Town Court and sent to Franklin County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail or $100,000 bond.
Search warrants were executed at the residences of Corey Waldron and Shawn Waldron, resulting in the recovery of stolen property and drug paraphernalia.
Additional arrests are pending, troopers said.
DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Katie L. Schongor, 21, of Massena with driving while intoxicated and ticketed her for failing to signal at least 100 feet from a turn following a traffic stop at 10:45 p.m. Friday on East Orvis Street in the village of Massena.
DWI - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Shanae T. Tarbell, 21, of Hogansburg with driving while intoxicated at 6 a.m. Saturday following a stop at the U.S. port of entry in Massena. She was turned over to troopers by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers.
DWI - MOIRA - Malone-based state police charge Michelle M. Jeror, 56, of Moira with driving while intoxicated and ticketed her for failure to keep right at 4:21 p.m. Friday following an incident at 4:21 p.m. Friday on Route 11 in the town of Moira.
ONE INJURED - MOIRA - Malone-based state police said one person was injured in a two-vehicle collision at 9:06 p.m. Friday on Route 11, near Hill Street, in the town of Moira. Troopers said the vehicles were operated by Alyssa Lee Lucey, 17, of North Bangor and P.A. Dillabough, 67, of Moira.
PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT - COLTON - State police investigated a number of property damage accidents on Friday. Among those:
