POTSDAM - National Grid reported that 4,414 customers were without power as of 9 a.m. Sunday in St. Lawrence County.

While the largest numbers throughout Saturday evening and the overnight hours had been in the southern end of the county, outages this morning have been reported in the higher elevations. There are 750 customers without power in the town of Colton and another 294 in the town of Parishville. Pierrepont has 128 customers without power. National Grid is estimating power will be restored to those customers by 11:30 a.m.

There were also 274 customers without power in Franklin County, including 105 in the town of Waverly. Approximately half of Jefferson County’s National Grid customers are without power. National Grid reported there were 26,085 customers without power in Jefferson County.
