The Massena Memorial Hospital Auxiliary held another successful Christmas Cash fundraiser; 600 tickets were sold in a short period of time.
The money raised is used to buy hospital equipment and award scholarships to graduating students of Massena Central School who are entering the medical field. Scholarships are also given to Massena Memorial Hospital employees furthering their medical careers.
This would not have been possible without the help of many people. Special thanks to the manager of Stewarts Route 56 and 37 Missy Howard, Mountain Mart manager Kristen Block and Ryan McConnell, branch manager of SeaComm Main Street Branch for allowing us to sell tickets at their locations.
A special thanks to all the members of the Auxiliary who gave their time to sell tickets and to Massena Memorial Hospital employees for all of their help and support.
Thanks to all who purchased tickets; it wouldnt be possible without your support. The winning tickets were drawn on WMSA radio with Sandy Cook, who is always so supportive of the community.
Congratulations to the winners: Tim and Emily Currier, Steven Mailhot, Shean Tonga and Ashley Johnson.
