Walsh walked past the last point of sale without paying for $188 worth of merchandise, including food and Christmas gifts.

INADEQUATE BRAKE LIGHT - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Moses P. Middlemiss, 29, of Jock Road, Hogansburg, for operation of a vehicle with an inadequate brake light following a traffic stop at 2:13 p.m. Monday in the Harte Haven Shopping Plaza.

UNSAFE BACKING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Christopher W. Dickenson, 23, of Sherwood Drive, Massena, for unsafe backing at 8:04 a.m. Monday following a property damage accident on Main Street.

UNSAFE BACKING - MASSENA - Village police ticketed Anthony M. Covais, 72, of Shallow River Road, Massena, for unsafe backing following a property damage accident at 12:27 p.m. Monday in the Walmart parking lot.
