NEW BREMEN — Jessica R. VanWinkle, 35, of 7899 Woodcock Drive, Glenfield, was arrested Sunday night after state police said she broke a window and let herself into her former residence.

According to police, the offense occurred at 6605 Route 812, where William J. Dolan Sr., 63, was sleeping. Ms. VanWinkle was accused of repeatedly knocking on the door and then breaking a glass panel on the door and letting herself into the house. When Mr. Dolan came downstairs, Ms. VanWinkle was in the kitchen, visibly intoxicated.

Police said Ms. VanWinkle used to live at the residence until a few weeks ago and she no longer is welcome there.

She was arrested at 11:20 p.m. at Mr. Dolan’s residence and charged with third-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief. She was transported to the Lewis County Jail on $1,500 cash bail and will face the charges in Town Court.
